Through Good Days & Bad

The Lingon Health Team

Every skin journey is different. Every month, we share one from our community.

When we hear from our community, there's one thing almost everyone has in common. No matter how much progress they've made, there are still days when their skin surprises them.

A flare-up. A little more dryness. A day when nothing seems to make sense.

If you've experienced that, you're not alone.

A story from our community

One community member wrote to us:

"For a long time, I thought every setback meant I was back at the beginning.

If my skin flared up, I felt like all my progress had disappeared.

Then I realized something.

One difficult day didn't erase all the better days that came before it.

That changed the way I looked at my skin journey."

What we learned

One sentence stayed with us: "One difficult day didn't erase all the better days."

We think that's true for so many parts of life. Progress isn't measured by never having setbacks. It's measured by continuing to care for yourself through them.

Sensitive skin has good days. It has difficult days. Neither one defines your entire journey.

A thought to carry with you

The next time your skin has a difficult day, try not to think, "I'm starting over." Instead ask, "What has my skin taught me since this journey began?"

Progress doesn't disappear overnight. Neither does hope.

We'd love to hear your story

Has your skin ever taught you patience? Or helped you see progress differently? Email us at info@lingonhealth.com and tell us your story.

Your words may encourage someone who's having a difficult skin day today.

This is one person's experience, shared in their own words. Everyone's skin is different, and results vary.
